Region 1 Administrator of the Year Awards
One of ACSA's priorities is to ensure that school leaders are recognized for a job well done. Through our state ACSA and Administrator of the Year award programs we honor leaders for their dedication, hard work and compassion for public education. Five state ACSA awards and 19 Administrator of the Year awards (each representing a specialized level of school leadership) are granted annually.

ACSA Region 1
Academy Scholarship Program
Region 1 has established scholarships (based on the number of eligible applicants - $2000 total) for ACSA and Charter members who want to attend job-specific academies.
ACSA and Charter Members (concurrent membership) who have a commitment to educational quality, student achievement and professional growth, and who can demonstrate a financial need .

Every Student Succeeding
Nominations must be submitted to your region. Check with region president for due date. Region presidents must forward recipient information to state ACSA by March 12, 2011. Each year, ACSA honors students at all grade levels that have succeeded, against all odds, beyond expectations or simply won the hearts of the administrators and other educators who helped them achieve their goals.

ACSA Student Scholarship Program
Each year ACSA Region I will award scholarships during the month of May to graduating high school seniors who have a parent/care-giver who is a member of ACSA Region I and works in a school district in Region I. The number of scholarships varies each year. Four $1,000.00 scholarships are awarded each year. The ACSA Region 1 Executive Board may award more than four scholarships if more than four qualifying student scholarship applications have been submitted.
